Is your site secure?

 Ploppin Memories uses industry standard SSL encryption to ensure that privacy is maintained with each and every customer transaction. When you enter your credit card information it is transmitted to us in an encrypted or scrambled format which is 100% secure and hacker safe.

How do I place an order?

 Ordering from Ploppin Memories is as easy as 1-2-3.  Once you have located an item you are interested in purchasing, click on the order button associated with that item. The item will then be transferred to your on-line shopping cart.  If you are interested in ordering more than one item, click on the Keep Shopping button located below the shopping cart. NOTE: You will see that the quantity of each item in your shopping cart defaults to one. If you wish to order more than one of any of the items in your cart, change the quantity to reflect the amount you wish to order. After you have selected the quantities you wish to order, click on the ‘Update Quantities’ button located below the shopping cart. You are now ready to check out. Click on the ‘Check Out’ button located below the shopping cart. At this time, you will be viewing our secure on-line ordering form. The order form is broken down as follows:  Here are the basic steps to use when ordering Ploppin Memories downloadable artwork layouts.

1. Choose the artwork layouts that you would like to order by clicking the ORDER button below the price.
2. When you are finished shopping, click the CHECK OUT button.
3. When checking out, be sure to choose “DOWNLOADABLE”  for your shipping method so you won’t be charged shipping.
4. Review your final order, and click PLACE ORDER.
5. An order summary page will appear, and next to your item, you will see a red “Download Now” button.
6. Click on the Download Now Button.
7. Next, locate the directory where you save all of your downloaded files, or make a new folder called “Downloads”.
8. Now click Save.  Note:  download time will vary depending on the type of internet connection that you have.
9. Now locate the Zip file that you just saved.  Such as:  Ploppinmemories.zip
10. Right-click on the Zip file and choose WinZip>Extract to folder…
11. This will unzip the contents of the Zip file and place them in a new folder with the same name as the Zip.
12. Double-click on the Folder titled”  Ploppinmemories…” and you will see the images in the Download Pak that you purchased.

  How do I know if my order was received?

 You should receive a confirmation e-mail within minutes of placing your order confirming that we received your order. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us via email at judy@ploppinmemories.com   for assistance.

 AOL USERS: Please be aware that AOL’s automatic SPAM filters have been intercepting emails from our store to our customers and placing them in their SPAM folder to be deleted. These include, but are not limited to, order confirmation emails and shipping emails containing tracking numbers for packages. If you have not received an order confirmation email, please check your SPAM folder before contacting customer service.

 How it works:

 When you purchase Ploppin Memories layout artwork from us, we let you instantly download your order.  You can print as many copies of the artwork as you want for personal use, whenever you need them.  You will be licensed to use the graphics for your own personal use.

  What are my printing options? 

 The many options available for printing can be overwhelming, below are some of your options:

1. You can print Ploppin Memories artwork layouts on your home printer on regular 8 ½ x 11 paper, either before or after you add your personal photos.  The image size will be 8 x 8.  With this option, you can use an 8 x 8 scrapbook album or you can place the image on a larger piece of cardstock and add journaling, embellishments or other photos to create a very unique design.

2. You can print Ploppin Memories artwork layouts on a home printer that prints on 12” x 12” size paper.  Epson, Hewlett Packard and Canon all make this size printer.

3. Another viable option for printing your 12” x 12” layouts, if you aren’t able to invest in a wide format printer is use a professional copy center.  You can take a CD of the artwork, either before or after you add your personal photos, to a copy center for printing.  Most copy centers, such as Kinko’s, will print your 12” layouts as 11” x 11”.  Some copy centers, like Kinko’s, have upload programs where you can submit what you want to print to them over the internet and then go by to pick it up.  Detailed instructions for uploading can be found on copy center websites.

 We recommend that you print on high grade matte finish photo paper as it has a wonderful sheen.

 What are some digital scrapbooking Software Editors?

 The top programs are:  Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Ulead Photoimpact, and Microsoft Digital Image Pro (earlier versions were called Picture It!).

  How Do I use the Downloadable Artwork Pages?

1. Unzip download pak using an unzipping utility such as WinZip.  Save artwork layouts and usage guidelines/instructions is a folder on your computer.
2. Open the JPEG file artwork layout in an image editor such as Adobe Photoshop Elements, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Ulead PhotoImpact or Microsoft Digital Image Pro.
3. Browse your system for the photos that you want to use on the page.
4. Drag your photos (or copy and paste) them onto the Ploppin Memories artwork layout.
5. Move your photos into desired position, resizing and rotating them if desired.
6. In layer palette on the right side of your screen, select photo layer, click and drag it down beneath the artwork layout.  The photo will now appear as if it were cut to fit the frame exactly!
7. Add personal journaling using your image editor’s text tool.
8. Save as a layered file in your image editor’s native format (psd or pspimage, for example).
9. Print on a home printer on matte photo paper on high quality or save as pdf and burn to a CD to take to a copy center to have printed on laser paper.  Back the laser copy with cardstock for stability and insert into a scrapbook album.
10. You can also upload them to your preferred online photo service for printing. 
11. Keep the Ploppin Memories artwork layout as your original and use “save as” each time you use it.  The file is a jpeg compressed file and every time it is re-saved, it compresses again and you lose resolution.  It is like making a photocopy of a photocopy.  If you need to resave a jpg, make sure you do it as “save-as” and name it something new.
